Pancake Breakfast
7-10 a.m., Tewksbury Hall, Skowhegan Island
Featuring locally sourced foods including homemade whole-grain pancakes, Somerset County maple syrup, free-range sausage, fresh fruit, and local coffee, tea, cider, and milk. $6 for adults, $4 for children 12 and under.

50/50 Raffle
7 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Benefiting revitalization efforts in Skowhegan. Purchase tickets at the breakfast 7-10 a.m. and at Country Crow Primitives 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Maple Leaf Hunt
9-3 p.m., Downtown
Pick up a checklist at the Bankery (87 Water St.), search for maple leaves, colored by North Elementary students, hidden in downtown businesses, and turn in your completed list to be entered into a drawing for two movie passes to the Strand.

Chez Londorf Maple Open House
9 a.m.-4 p.m., Chez Londorf, Burrill Hill Rd.

Springtime Celebration
9 a.m.-5 p.m., Country Crow Primitives, 61 Water St.
Celebrate spring with homemade treats, in-store specials, and more at Country Crow.

Maple Marshmallow Roasting
10 a.m.-2 p.m., Municipal Lot
Roast your own maple flavored marshmallow over a warm open fire.

The Sap and Syrup Shuttle
10 a.m.-2 p.m., Municipal Lot
Hop on the Sap and Syrup Shuttle in downtown Skowhegan to visit Tessier’s Farm, and Smith Brothers Maple, for all things maple. This free shuttle will run half-hour loops, starting in the Municipal lot, while passengers hop on and off to check out Skowhegan’s maple houses. Thank you, Poland Bus Service, for making this happen!

Children’s Seed-Planting Activity
11 a.m.-2 p.m., Municipal Lot
Organized by Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County. Thank you to Campbells True Value for donating the soil! In case of inclement weather or extreme cold, this event will take place inside the Skowhegan Area Chamber of Commerce.

Live Chainsaw Carving Show
10 a.m.-2 p.m., Municipal Lot
Local chainsaw artist, Josh Landry, will be creating four carvings from start to finish. One carving will be raffled off at the end of the performance. Come watch as Josh Landry intricately turns logs into works of art.

Officer and First Responder Meet and Greet
10 a.m.-2 p.m., Municipal Lot
Come meet Somerset County’s law enforcement and first responder units! Kids and their families will be able to check out Skowhegan PD’s Interceptor, a Skowhegan Fire Department fire truck, Redington Fairview General Hospital’s EMS unit, a Somerset Sheriff’s truck, and the State Police K-9 unit!

Somerset Humane Society
10 a.m.-2 p.m., Municipal Lot
Come visit the Somerset Humane Society booth during the festivities. They’ll have information on ways to give and pets that are ready for adoption! Find your furry soulmate during the Skowhegan Maple Festival.

Dollar Doughnuts
10 a.m.-2 p.m., Municipal Lot
The Miller’s Table will have hot doughnuts for a $1 in the Municipal Lot. Stop for the maple flavored doughnuts, leave with a coupon for their spring re-opening.

Maple Syrup Demonstration
10 a.m.-2 p.m., Municipal Lot
The University of Maine Cooperative Extension for Somerset County will be educating festival-goers about the process of turning sap into syrup.

HooSkow Radio Photo Booth
12 p.m.-2 p.m., Municipal Lot
Local radio station WXNZ 98.1 (HooSkow Radio) will be adding to the festival fun with their jailhouse photobooth.

Skowhegan Rotary Beer, Wine, and Food Tasting
5-8 p.m., Skowhegan Armory, 11 N. School St.
Organized by the Skowhegan Rotary Club. 21+ event. Tickets are $20 prepurchased/$25 at the door and are available at Hammond Lumber, Franklin Savings Bank, and Bigelow Brewing Co. For more information see their Facebook event page.
