Adrian is an experienced international business leader with a strong background in workforce strategy, project coordination, and global development. As Workforce Development Manager at Main Street Skowhegan (MSS), Adrian leads efforts to strengthen the regional economy, close employment gaps, and expand economic opportunity by connecting employers with a skilled workforce and supporting and expanding MSS' innovative entrepreneurial and career pathway programs.
Adrian brings over a decade of experience in retail food service, manufacturing, international sales, and technical project management, with a focus on training, cross-cultural communication, and compliance. Before joining MSS, he served as Director of Trade Services at the Maine International Trade Center, where he co-chaired the Northeast Regional Defense Industry Collaboration (NERDIC) and Defense Industry Maine (DIME) and supported defense manufacturers across the region through workforce and trade programs. He also played a key role in developing training standards and vendor networks at Modula, Inc., working across the Americas and Europe.
Adrian is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served with the elite Marine Corps Security Forces and as an Infantry Assaultman. He is fluent in Spanish and Italian and holds a B.A. in Organizational Management. Originally from Arizona, Adrian, like many veterans, has lived in various locations across the United States. He has called Maine home for the past 10 years, currently residing in Brunswick with his wife and children and their fur babies. He and his wife enjoy traveling, gardening, hiking, backpacking, camping, and boating enjoying all that Maine has to offer.
