In 2025, Main Street Skowhegan celebrated its 20-year anniversary, a milestone that prompted us to reflect on the many local businesses that have reached meaningful anniversaries of their own. Together, these stories form the backbone of Skowhegan’s economic, cultural, and community identity.
To honor that shared history, we are creating a limited-run coffee table book titled Made in Skowhegan: From River Banks to Main Street—a visual and narrative celebration of the businesses, buildings, and people that have shaped Skowhegan over generations.
